On July 25, 2024, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) sent out 209 provincial nomination invitations in an Express Entry draw under the Human Capital Priorities stream (HCP).

OINP targeted Express Entry profiles with the intention of living in Ontario and having at least 6 months of experience in the primary occupation listed under NOC 31102: general practitioners and family physicians.
Express entry profiles created between July 25, 2023, and July 25, 2024 meeting the above eligibility criteria with a CRS score between 395 and 444 have been invited to claim provincial nominations in the OINP express entry draw today.

Invitations – 209
CRS score range – 395-444
Targeted draw for general practitioners and family physicians (NOC code: 31102)
Reiterating, your Express Entry profile must indicate your job experience in NOC 31102, General Practitioners and Family Physicians, as your primary NOC.
You must provide proof that at least half of your one year of qualifying work experience—six months out of the total—was completed in your primary NOC if you want to be evaluated under the Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates receiving notification of interest will now have 45 days to respond to the invitation to claim provincial nominations.
This provincial nomination, once approved by OINP, will confer 600 additional points, increasing the CRS score of such profiles to 995 and 1,044.
How can I qualify for OINP Express Entry draws?
Generally, to be considered for OINP express entry draws, you need to have a valid express entry profile with the intention of immigrating to Ontario.
A separate profile with OINP is not needed to be considered for these draws since Ontario PNP reviews valid express entry profiles and sends notification of interest directly to the express entry system of intended candidates.
However, OINP clearly states, as we quote, “Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are not guaranteed a notification of interest and receiving a notification of interest does not guarantee that you meet stream criteria or that your application will be approved.”
So reviewing program eligibility criteria is important when responding to a notification of interest.
